Hi Building CSP members, there is news, several things:
1. A new website is started called www.solartrough.org and www.parabolictrough.org. It aims to make plans and parts available for construction of solartrough collectors. It has a forum as well. We hope to put up a generic (but good) open and closed design soon. Because we (hope to) service more people we can share investment in manufacturing of the parts, moulds etc.spread the word if you have plans with your community.
2. We are working on a modular system for building a solar bowl. It consists of moulds that can beused to make tiles that can then be used to construct the bowl. THis way people can make bowls locally and the building process is quicker. If you would like to contribute to the creation of the modular system please let us know by sending us a message.
